To create and verify your account, Ethereans collects your full name, email address, date of birth, government-issued ID, and proof of address. This is required by KYC regulations.

During normal platform use, we also collect trade history, device identifiers, IP addresses, and session data. This helps us detect fraud and improve platform performance.

How We Use Your Data

Your data is used to verify identity, process transactions, prevent fraud, meet regulatory obligations, and send account notifications. We do not sell personal data to advertisers.

Cookies

Ethereans uses essential cookies to keep you logged in and functional cookies to remember your display preferences. Analytics cookies track aggregate usage patterns — not individual behavior.

You can manage cookie preferences from your browser settings at any time. Disabling essential cookies will prevent login from functioning correctly.

Data Sharing

We share data with licensed KYC providers, payment processors, and regulatory authorities when legally required. All third parties are contractually bound to data protection standards.

Data Security

All data in transit is protected with TLS 1.3. Data at rest is encrypted with AES-256. Access to production databases is restricted to a small team with hardware key authentication.

We conduct independent security audits annually. No user financial data has been exposed since ethereans launched in 2026.

Your Rights

You have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your personal data. Submit a request to info@ethereans.app and expect a response with info@ethereans.app in 5 business days.

Third-Party Links

Ethereans may link to external blockchain explorers or payment providers. Once you leave ethereans, this privacy policy no longer applies and we have no control over third-party practices.

Data Retention

Account data is retained for 5 years after account closure to meet AML regulatory requirements. Trade logs are kept for 7 years. You may request deletion of non-regulated data at any time.

Policy Updates

This policy may be updated when regulations or platform features change. We will notify you by email at least 10 days before any material change takes effect.
